Traveling on the train to Denali Park a gentleman told us to try reflective photography. I thought that sounded really fun so went outside between the railroad cars. I leaned out over the side of the train and took some shots of both the side of the train and the passing scenery. I really liked the effect. There is always something new to learn.

Skagway Alaska Part #2 Things to see and do in Skagway; Red Onion Saloon, drift wood visitor center, White Pass Yukon Railroad Station, Days of ’98’ show about Soapy Smith, train museum and Souvenir shopping. There are plenty of food places. We found a ice cream shop and the fudge shop.

Skagway Alaska was the first port cruise stopped at. The cruise ship took us on a tour up the Yukon White Pass. We saw the Inukshuk, the symbol of the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, These were made by tourist but we learned the history of the Inuits. The train and the bus tour take very similar paths. You can walk amongst the Gold Rush history, shop for souvenirs, ride the train, watch the Days of ’98’ Show with Sophie Smith and the Can Can girls, and get your picture with Sarah Palin.

One of the reasons to travel to Alaska is to see wildlife; caribou, bears, and moose. In this episode of Boomer & Senior Travel TV we see a mother bear and her two cubs. Rafting in Alaska is the place to receive a glacier facial or so the guide told us. Ride along with us in this episode of Boomer & Senior Travel TV and experience the glacial runoff and glacial silt up close and personal for the thrill of a lifetime. Rafting the river was the beginning of our Denali Park Tour. A mamma Grizzly and her babies two played on a river bank for our entertainment along with a variety of wildlife we saw riding the bus through Denali Park. Our tour ends with a demonstration on sled dogging, seeing the dogs run and panning for gold.
