Wedding Destinations for Couples

I was recently asked this question and I thought of sharing it here in my blog…

Where is the best place for a destination wedding?

Wow that could be almost anywhere.  I would consider the following to narrow it down.

  • Cost of airfare to fly in your guests or for them to attend
  • What that destination means to the two of you
  • Do you want to relax together or have a vacation with activities
  • What is included in the wedding package at that destination
  • Could more of your loved ones attend your wedding if you held it where you lived and then had a private rewedding ceremony alone at a destination
  • What is the weather at the destination
  • Would getting married and then taking a honeymoon alone be more fun than having people there with you on your honeymoon that attended the wedding

Just something to think about. That being said here are some of the top wedding destinations that I know of:

Hawaii * Paris *Italy *Jamaica *Riviera Maya Mexico *Dominican Republic *Tahiti *Croatia

Date Ideas for Couples, Couple Dinner Topics that Will End in Arguments

Spending time together whether eating together, sitting in bed or traveling can be fun or the start of an argument depending on what they are talking about.

When men and woman spend time together there are just some subjects that you shouldn’t bring up in conversation if you want the time together to stay friendly. Men and woman each have things that push their buttons especially if it is a topic that in their minds threatens their relationship.
If you are aware of the taboo subjects then you can pick subjects that you can both find agreeable and interesting and bring you closer together rather than tearing you apart.

Romantic Vacation Ideas for Couples

Recently I was asked this question and thought I’d share it with my readers here on the blog..

Can someone help with vacation ideas?

“Ok so my boyfriend and I are looking for a slightly romantic vacation to go on to celebrate our 1 year. We have a very limited budget, probably about 700 for a vacation, is there anywhere within about 5-8 hours of Kansas City that could be moderately romantic for that price? Or any other cheap vacation ideas?”

Remember that a romantic getaway is all about spending time together. When you see, do or share new thing together that draws you closer together. Here are some day trips I found in that area. You could go one place or go on a road trip together for very little money.

Olathe – Go to the Mahaffe Stagecoach Stop and Farmstead and experience life from the 1860’s.

Chilllicothe Region – Visit: the home of Walt Disney, an Amish Community, home of J.C. Penny. Mormon Heritage Sites, home of General Pershing and the Locust Creek Covered Bridge.

Excelsior Springs, MO – Spend some romantic time soaking in the healing natural springs of Excelsior Springs

Atchison, KS- Getting scared is always romantic. Try clinging to each other at Atchin one of the nation’s most haunted places. Take a haunted tour on the Atchison Trolley. Visit the Evah C. Cray Museum a very haunted place.

You could always do a stay vacation where you turn off your phones, order in dinner and relax together doing the things that you enjoy together but never have the time.

Traveling Tips For Weekend Getaways – Jet Lag Demystified

I know that there are many things that you can do to help with jet lag. The main ones that I recommend are:
• Get lots of sleep for several nights before your trip
• Drink plenty of water
• Get up and move on long flights
• Allow yourself time to relax when you get to your destination
• Travel first class where you can lay down and sleep

Vacation Destinations for Couples

Recently I was asked this question and thought I’d share it with my readers here on the blog..

1.What are the most popular places in the world to visit?

The ones that I always hear is: Paris, Hawaii, and Niagara Falls. I think these are great but everyone’s favorites are the places that they have been that have had an emotional experience for them. Some where that touched them, excited them, where they experienced something new and different or somewhere that they interacted with the people.

I loved Paris because we went to a tour – The Catacombs and the underground sewer tours. I loved sitting out in the street cafes. That was what made Paris for me.

One of my favorite places in the world are Holland and Riviera Maya Mexico. Holland hit the top of my list when we spent time walking along the canals visiting with the people and eating in the local pubs.

Riviera Maya on the other hand is in the top of my list because it is where we go for romantic beach vacations.

At the very top of my list of favorites is Egypt. It is just so overwhelmingly overwhelming! The history, the grandness and the gracious people.

But all of the I think should be the most popular places because I loved them so much.
